SHOPPING ON THE PHONE & GETTING PRICES

When planning your wedding, shopping on the phone is very convenient but limited. We recommend actually going to the vendors you are considering using. Although this does take more time on your part it is more beneficial to you in the future. Use the phone to qualify a vendor before setting an appointment but don’t make price the first question. Although price is important to everyone, you first want to make sure the vendor is capable of doing what you expect. Then possibly ask what their prices start at and what is the average price for wedding services. Asking what the packages include is usually not helpful since quality will vary greatly from company to company and you can’t experience what the product is like over the phone. Going to a vendor’s location allows them the ability to show you more of their work such as photographs, video, or invitations. This is the most important day of your life; we are all limited on time, however, taking the time to do your wedding right will save you a lot of time correcting problems in the end.
